Who are we?
The Payroll Unit is part of the HR department in Norrköping Municipality. Our goal is to be a cutting-edge HR organization that challenges traditional methods.
The mission of the Payroll Unit is to ensure that the correct salary is paid out on time and to provide support and good service to managers and payroll reporters in payroll administration, system management, training, and pensions. We maintain close dialogue with managers and payroll reporters in the municipality.
We are currently driving an exciting development project where we are digitizing processes, developing routines and workflows, and strengthening our delivery with a focus on service to contribute to effective and sustainable payroll work.
Through trust-based management and governance, responsibility is delegated, and you as an employee are invited to dialogue and participation. It is important for us to utilize your knowledge and your ability to develop.
At the payroll unit, we are 20 employees located at Slottsgatan 118 in Norrköping, close to the travel center. We are now looking for two archive assistants for a fixed-term employment of one year.
Your tasks
As an archive assistant, you will work on a project tasked with digitizing our personnel archive. You will be responsible for scanning and handling personnel files, sorting, naming documents, and entering them into our digital filing system.
You will follow an information management plan to ensure that different types of documents are handled according to guidelines. You will work alongside another archive assistant and have the support of other employees in the payroll unit.
Who are you?
You have a high school diploma and previous experience in administrative work. We consider it an advantage if you have prior experience handling personal data and information management, as well as experience in filing.
For this position, you need to have good IT skills and strong proficiency in the Swedish language, both spoken and written.
As a person, you are self-driven and detail-oriented, able to take on tasks independently and prioritize and organize tasks based on urgency or importance. Since the work involves repetitive tasks, you are someone who shows perseverance and continues in your work even when obstacles arise.
You ensure that agreements are kept and take responsibility for completing tasks in a quality-assured manner. Furthermore, you are collaborative and value creating a good harmony in the group and contributing to group processes.
